Appointment & Credit Card Policies
Dr. Ruth Durkee has been in private practice since 1995 and is starting a new chapter. She is now semi-retired and will continue to see her patients by appointment only.

It is important to arrive on time for appointments as she attempts to see her patients on time.
​
Please note: There is a 3% service fee for use of credit cards. A debit card used with a PIN# will not incur a fee. An HSA Card requires a PIN#, contact your card carrier.

There is a late cancellation or no-show fee of $25.00. Please give the office 24 hours notice of any appointment changes. This allows us time to schedule someone on a cancellation list.

New Patients
Dr. Durkee's space for new patients is very limited. She does try to make room for family and friends when asked. You may call the office for more information.
Dr. Durkee accepts Traditional Medicare Only, no medicare advantage programs. We are in network for BCBS PPO, but do not accept assignement - you will be required to pay allowed amounts at the time of service BCBS will reimburse you if your deductibles etc. are met.
If it has been a while since you have seen the doctor, you will have new paperwork to fill out or be considered a New Patient. Please call to schedule. You may be asked to pay the cost of your first visit at the time of scheduling to guarantee your appointment.
